Q: If I learn accelerated reading, do I always have to read fast?
A: NO! Most people who have learnt the skill of accelerated reading still enjoy reading slow whenever they want to. This may include novels, legal documents, poetry etc. The choice is entirely yours.
Q: I wear glasses whenever I read, is that going to effect my ability to learn accelerated reading?
A: There is no problem with wearing glasses. You will be able to learn the techniques either with or without your glasses.
Q: How soon will I be able to utilise these techniques?
A: Immediately. You will notice your reading speed has doubled even tripled within the first few hours. From there is just continues to get faster and faster.
Q: What should I do if I go back to my old reading speed?
A: Acknowledge it first. Chances are it will happen. If and when it does, just relax and remember the techniques that you have been taught. Review your material once again, relax and you will pick up your speeds in no time.
